From the arrival of the first team member in 2016, it has now grown into an Emerging Global Delivery Center supporting both North American and Asia Pacific client engagements – Advisory, Implementation, Project Management, and Development.
Appficiency Philippines provides NetSuite solutions and expertise in Implementation, Consulting, and Development, and caters to several industries particularly Advertising, Media & Publishing (AMP), Wholesale Distribution, Manufacturing, Services and Construction.
Melissa Tecson, Senior Consultant
Melissa leads Appficiency’s Emerging Global Delivery Center in the Philippines. Born and raised in the Philippines, Melissa graduated with an Engineering degree from De La Salle University in 2006 and has built her career in the IT industry.
Much of Melissa’s work focuses on developing local teams serving clients from the American, Middle Eastern, and Asia Pacific regions across key industries such as manufacturing, technology, government, aviation, and services. Her experience includes working as a PH delivery leader for a large IT company having served Fortune 500 clients in the North American region, as well as a country general manager running a PH Delivery Center of a mid-sized IT company, supporting global clients and responsible for growing the business within the Asia Pacific region.
Her years of client work extend across Application Development, Application Management, Emerging Technologies, Custom Solutions, and Technology Consulting. She has shepherded clients to reduce IT costs by designing application management delivery models with a focus on offshoring to support their application landscape, and by establishing and refining their IT processes to gain efficiencies. She has also served as a consultant for startup companies that are investing and expanding their footprint in the Philippines, and has become a keen advisor on market entry strategies, growth, and establishing local operations and presence in the country.
Deeply rooted in her home country, she chose to return and stay after completing her post-graduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Her faith and pride in Filipino talent have been one of her motivations in pursuing a career that allowed her to help Filipinos establish a positive reputation in the IT industry.
